Project on inter-industry regulations on labor protection

In connection with the enactment of the Forest Code of the Republic of Belarus of December 24, 2015, No. 332-З, regulatory documents need to be amended accordingly, including the legal act "Resolution of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Belarus dated December 30, 2008 No. 211/39 "On the approval of Intersectoral regulations on labor protection in the forestry, forest and woodworking industries" (hereinafter - Intersectoral rules).

The analysis of the Intersectoral Rules showed that they need comprehensive processing in order to bring their norms into line with the requirements of the Labor Code of the Republic of Belarus (as amended by the Law of the Republic of Belarus No. 131-З of 08.01.2014), the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Labor Protection" and of existing normative legal acts.

In addition, it is necessary to develop labor protection requirements taking into account changes in production technology, in particular, taking into account the transition to machine harvesting of wood, the use of new equipment and materials.

In 2016, the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter - the Ministry of Forestry), together with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, began a comprehensive revision of the Intersectoral Rules. The work takes into account the proposals of other departments, such as concern "Bellesbumprom", OJSC "Amkodor" - managing company of the holding company, BSTU, etc.

All those who wish, both employees of the organizations of the Ministry of Forestry and other organizations, can give their suggestions on the processing of this document in accordance with norm-setting activities.
